In normal ventilation systems, there are two factors, heat and humidity, while in hospital ventilation systems, in addition to the heat and humidity factor, the airflow direction and the air flow pressure are among the factors that need to be considered while living and non-living pollutants and other harmful substances should be filtered.
Hospitals have rooms designed without contact with open air and air circulation of these areas is provided only by ventilation systems.
Particular attention should be paid to the selection of the filter to be used to eliminate the factors that will adversely affect the health of the patient and patients.
There are DIN1946 / 4, ISO 14644/1 and ISO 14644/3 standards to be followed in hospital ventilation systems.
